Victoria has been a Qualified Teacher for 27 Years. She has extensive experience of working with both Primary and Secondary Students. Victoria founded VB Tutoring in 2020 and loves providing care and support for her students and their families. She has provided individualised English Lessons for all ranges of ability and has worked with lots of Special Educational Needs children. She offers a friendly approach and enjoys working with both neurotypical and neurodiverse students.
She is registered on the DBS Update Service and takes safeguarding of her students seriously. She is also a member of The Tutors Association.

HOW do I book my child onto an online class?
You should click on the link provided and send an email to Victoria who will be happy to discuss the possibility of booking your child onto an appropriate group class or one to one class. Victoria is always happy to answer any questions that you may have.
What will happen if I fill this form out?
You are not obligated by filling this form out. You will simply be inviting Victoria to email you regarding the possibility of tuition for your child.
Victoria will respond to the information that you provide in the email and if she thinks that she can assist you then a phone call will follow. You then get to decide if you would like to book an introductionary session and after that if you would like to confirm a place for weekly tuition.

What services do you offer?

Victoria offers online lessons covering Key Stage 2, 3 and 4. We focus on English Language and Literature skills. We offer bespoke classes which cover the main examination boards at GCSE such as: AQA, Eduqas and Edexcel. We also offer specialised classes for Year 5 and 6, preparing children for the National Curriculum Tests(SATS). In addition to this we provide intervention lessons to improve Literacy skills: including inference, retrieval and evaluation. We assist children in improving: Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation. We also teach the skills required for Creative Writing and Transactional Writing.
How can I ensure my child receives personalised attention in online classes?

Your child will always receive personalised attention in an online class. In a small group, each child works on their own individual board after the introduction which takes place on a central board. Victoria then visits each child offering feedback and advice to target their own individual needs.
One to one sessions are always targetted to the individual child. Both Group and One to One sessions provide an individualised service which cannot be replicated in a school classroom setting.
